A Complete Dog Training Center
Chris Grove
Chris has been training Basic obedience, Formal obedience and Agility since 2000. In the 1980's she spent 4 years working as a technician at a veterinarian clinic.
Chris co-teaches Basic obedience and the Beginning Agility classes as well as assisting in the Intermediate agility classes. Chris has a strong background in basic obedience which helps correct problems with her student's beginning agility dogs. Chris teaches a strong foundation to ensure the skills and confidence needed to succeed in agility. She enjoys working with the beginner students, watching them build a bond and a foundation with their dogs.
Chris had completed her CD and was working on her MX & MXJ with her boxer Bosco before his retirement due to injury. She is currently working with her Sheltie Zorro on his MX, MXJ and CDX . Zorro also recently completed his Rally excellent title. Chris also enjoys working with her breeder socializing puppies as she feels the first 6 months of a puppy’s life is very important in shaping how a dog responds to the world for the rest of their life. “Seeing a puppy after they have spent time with my daughter and me and how happy and well adjusted they are makes it all worth while. We are able to focus on one puppy and give them that little extra attention they might need and it is also lots of fun for us!”
Her 13 year old daughter also competes in agility, formal obedience, rally and conformation with her own sheltie and occasionally helps her mom out in classes. They enjoy having a common activity and feel it brings them closer in a fun and active way.
